The BC Coroners Service has confirmed the identity of a male who died following an ATV incident near Tumbler Ridge on June 30, 2013.

He was Richard Martin, aged 23, of Tumbler Ridge.

Mr. Martin was the driver of a side-by-side ATV that tipped over in the Tumbler Ridge area in the early morning hours of June 30. Mr. Martin was deceased at the scene.

The BC Coroners Service and RCMP continue to investigate this death.

The family of Mr. Martin has been notified of his death. On behalf of family members, the BC Coroners Service asks that the media respect their privacy at this difficult time.
