The BC Coroners Service has confirmed the identity of a man who died after a motor vehicle incident near Revelstoke on July 6, 2013.
He was Shiloh Critchfield, aged 34, of Revelstoke.
Mr. Critchfield was the driver and sole occupant of a westbound car that was involved in a collision with a commercial transport truck on the Trans-Canada Highway about 9.5 kilometres west of Revelstoke shortly after 8 a.m. on July 6. Mr. Critchfield was deceased at the scene.
The BC Coroners Service and RCMP Traffic Services continue to investigate this death.
The family of Mr. Critchfield has been notified of his death. On behalf of family members, the BC Coroners Service asks that the media respect their privacy at this difficult time.
