The BC Coroners Service has confirmed the identity of two men who died as the result of a motor vehicle incident in Campbell River on July 13, 2013.

They were Jordan Conred Stewart, aged 20, and Christopher Joseph McAuliffe, aged 21, both from Campbell River.

The two men were travelling in a pickup truck which left the road and overturned on Nursery Road in Campbell River shortly before 2 a.m. on July 13. Both were deceased at the scene.

The BC Coroners Service and RCMP Traffic Services continue to investigate this incident.

The families of Mr. Stewart and Mr. McAuliffe have been notified of their deaths. On behalf of family members, the BC Coroners Service asks that the media respect their privacy at this difficult time.
