The BC Coroners Service has confirmed the identity of a male who died following a motor vehicle incident in Prince George on July 29, 2013.
He was Robin Zachary Thomas, aged 19, of Prince George.
Mr. Thomas was the driver and sole occupant of a car that was involved in a single-vehicle incident in which his vehicle impacted a hydro pole on North Nechako Road about 3 a.m. on July 29. Mr. Thomas was rushed to hospital in Prince George but succumbed to his injuries shortly after arrival at hospital.
The BC Coroners Service and RCMP continue to investigate this death.
The family of Mr. Thomas has been notified of his death. On behalf of family members, the BC Coroners Service asks that the media respect their privacy at this difficult time.
