Nominations for the honorary designation of Queen's counsel are now being accepted until Friday, Oct. 11, 2013, by the Ministry of Justice.

The title is bestowed by the attorney general based on recommendations from an advisory committee and recognizes British Columbia lawyers for distinctive merit and contribution to the legal profession.

The Ministry of Justice will announce appointments chosen to receive the designation at the end of the year.
