The BC Coroners Service has confirmed the identity of a male who died following a motor vehicle incident near Prince George on Aug. 19, 2013.
He was Mervyne Philip Reeves, aged 63, of Willow River, a small community northeast of Prince George.
Mr. Reeves was driving a Caterpillar grader on the Stone Creek Forest Service Road shortly before 2 p.m. on Aug. 19 when the grader went off the road and into a lake at the side of the road. Mr. Reeves was deceased at the scene.
The BC Coroners Service, WorkSafeBC and RCMP Traffic Services continue to investigate this death.
The family of Mr. Reeves has been notified of his death. On behalf of family members, the BC Coroners Service asks that the media respect their privacy at this difficult time.
