The BC Coroners Service has confirmed the identity of a youth who died in a motor vehicle incident in Yarrow on Aug. 25, 2013.

He was Adam Burchart, aged 18, of Chilliwack.

Mr. Burchart was riding in the box of a pickup truck which was eastbound on Boundary Road in Yarrow at about 11:30 p.m. on Aug. 25. Near No. 3 Road, Mr. Burchart fell from the truck box onto the road surface. He was deceased at the scene.

The BC Coroners Service and RCMP continue to investigate this incident.

The family of Mr. Burchart has been notified of his death. On behalf of family members, the BC Coroners Service asks that the media respect their privacy at this difficult time.
