The BC Coroners Service has confirmed the identity of a man who died following a motor vehicle incident near Kamloops on Sept. 25, 2013.
He was Dustin Raymond Descoteau, aged 29, of Chemainus.
Mr. Descoteau was the driver and sole occupant of a flat-deck pickup truck which went off the Coquihalla Highway and rolled down an embankment about four kilometres south of the Inks Lake exit south of Kamloops at about 11 p.m. on Sept. 25. Mr. Descoteau was deceased at the scene.
The BC Coroners Service and RCMP continue to investigate this death.
The family of Mr. Descoteau has been notified of his death. On behalf of family members, the BC Coroners Service asks that the media respect their privacy at this difficult time.
