The BC Coroners Service has confirmed the identity of a man who died following a motor vehicle incident near Vernon on Sept. 28, 2013.
He was Braden Len Williams, aged 44, of Armstrong.
Mr. Williams was the driver and sole occupant of a car that left the road and went into a treed field off Highway 97 in the rural community of Spallumcheen north of Vernon about 2 a.m. on Sept. 28. Mr. Williams was deceased at the scene.
The Coroners Service and RCMP continue to investigate this death.
The family of Mr. Williams has been notified of his death. On behalf of family members, the Coroners Service asks that the media respect their privacy at this difficult time.
