The BC Coroners Service has confirmed the identity of a female who died following a motor vehicle incident near Purden Lake on Nov. 7, 2013.

She was Regina Baye Timmons, aged 66, of McBride.

Ms. Timmons was the front-seat passenger in a car which collided with a loaded logging truck on Highway 16 east of Purden Lake, about 60 kilometres east of Prince George, at about 2:40 p.m. on Nov. 7. Ms. Timmons was deceased at the scene.

The BC Coroners Service and RCMP continue to investigate this death.

The family of Ms. Timmons has been notified of her death. On behalf of family members, the BC Coroners Service asks that the media respect their privacy at this difficult time.
