The BC Coroners Service has confirmed the identity of a man who died after being involved in a workplace accident on Nov. 13, 2013 in Mission.

He is Robert Louis Ramer, aged 21, from Mission.

Mr. Ramer was working at a log-sorting operation in Mission when he was injured in an industrial accident shortly after 2 p.m. on Nov. 13.

Mr. Ramer was transported from the scene of the accident to Abbotsford Regional Hospital but succumbed to his injuries.

The Coroners Service and WorkSafe BC continue to investigate this death.

The family of Mr. Ramer has been notified of his death. On behalf of family members, the Coroners Service asks that the media respect their privacy at this difficult time.
