The BC Coroners Service has confirmed the identity of a woman who died following a mobile home fire in Penticton on Nov. 14, 2013.

She was Julianna Dorothy Dolores Bergum, aged 81, of Penticton.

Mrs. Bergum was home alone in the mobile home where she resided when neighbours noted the home to be on fire at about 2:30 p.m. on Nov. 14, 2013. Firefighters found Mrs. Bergum in the home; she was deceased at the scene.

The BC Coroners Service, RCMP, and the Penticton Fire Department continue to investigate this incident.

Mrs. Bergum's family has been notified of his death. On behalf of family members, the Coroners Service asks that the media respect their privacy at this difficult time.
