The BC Coroners Service has confirmed the identity of a man found in Goldstream park near Victoria on Dec. 8, 2013.

He is Thomas Andrew Stewart, 50 of Victoria, B.C.

Mr. Stewart had been reported missing to the Victoria Police Department in August 2013 after he left his home in Victoria. There is no obvious cause of death and no evidence of foul play.

The BC Coroners Service continues to investigate this death.

The family of Mr. Stewart has been notified of his death. On behalf of family members, the BC Coroners Service asks that the media respect their privacy at this difficult time.
