On the heels of a record production year, Analytic Systems Ware (1993) Ltd. (ASW) is pleased to announce its largest-ever order for a power system for AAI Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) Shadow Tactical Unmanned Aircraft Systems (TUAS), generating more jobs for British Columbians.
Today's announcement will preserve existing jobs and immediately create two new positions to move the company's workforce to 76 employees. The company expects to add more jobs in the coming months, crediting British Columbia as a centre of excellence for the power conversion industry where it is able to access to the best employees.
Working with the engineering team for Aircraft Armament Inc. (AAI Corp, a division of Textron Systems), Analytic Systems has modified its LIAC600 (US Army/USMC AC Lithium-Ion Battery Charger), its LIDC600 (US Army DC Lithium-Ion Battery Charger) and its PWS1510MS ruggedized power supply to work as a complete power system for AAI's next generation Universal Ground Control Station.
This product agility as well as the reliability of Analytic Systems' product line provides the innovative technology companies need to complete the company's programs and provide solutions for all their UAS mission critical needs.
TUAS are in service with customers including the U.S. Army and Marine Corps. Analytic Systems recently purchased Aegis Manufacturing Operations Software which will assist as it is designed to improve efficiencies and quality by streamlining and controlling process planning and launch, process tracking and control, and quality and test management.
It will improve reliability, flexibility and traceability in the production of important projects like this.
