Families in and around Prince George are invited to enjoy a day of affordable family fun this B.C. Family Day at the Exploration Place for a day of free admission and family-friendly activities.

The province officially celebrates the first B.C. Family Day on Monday, Feb. 11, 2013, by hosting a celebration at the Exploration Place in Prince George with free admission from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

At four themed stations, visitors will be able to take part in activities and presentations like face painting, storytelling circles and opportunities to learn about B.C.'s natural riches.

In addition to the celebration at the Exploration Place, the www.bcfamilyday.ca website provides a portal to encourage families to connect with other resources, get inspired and discover new things to do, places to explore, or events to attend throughout the province while making new memories.
