Premier Christy Clark released the following statement reflecting on Easter:
"This weekend, thousands of British Columbians will celebrate Easter, which commemorates the promised resurrection of Jesus Christ three days after His crucifixion.
"For many, Easter is a solemn period for reflection and renewal of faith.
"But no matter which faith you adhere to, Easter weekend is a welcome opportunity to spend more time with loved ones - you don't need to be a person of faith to celebrate and enjoy that.
"I wish all British Columbians a happy Easter weekend."
