In accordance with section 12 of the British Columbia rules for half-masting, Premier Christy Clark requested that the Canadian flag at the Legislative buildings in Victoria to be lowered from sunrise until sunset of the day of the funerals or memorial services in memory of the three fallen Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) officers in Moncton.

The Canadian Flag at the Legislature in Victoria will be flown at half-mast from sunrise to sunset on day of the funerals/memorial service (dates to be announced), in memory of the three members of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police in Moncton, New Brunswick.

Nationally, the flag on the Peace Tower will be flown at half-mast as of June 5, 2014, until sunset the day of the funeral or memorial service.
