The BC Liquor Distribution Branch (LDB) has been named one of BC's Top Employers in a national competition organized by Mediacorp Canada Inc. and published in the Vancouver Sun on Feb. 6, 2014.

The LDB has been recognized as one of BC's Top Employers for six years in a row, beginning in 2009. In 2012, the LDB was also recognized as one of Canada's Top 100 Employers.

The LDB is one of the largest distributors and retailers of beverage alcohol in Canada with a net income of $929.6 million on annual sales of $2.95 billion.

The organization strives to be a great place to work for its 3,500 full-time and part-time employees who work in a variety of corporate, retail, wholesale and distribution positions across the province. The LDB is proud to offer its employees a fair, open, respectful and progressive workplace.

  • The LDB has 195 government liquor stores, two distribution centres, two wholesale centres and a head office location.
  • Now entering its ninth year, BC's Top Employers is an annual competition organized by the editors of Canada's Top 100 Employers. This special designation recognizes the British Columbia employers that lead their industries in offering exceptional places to work.
