The BC Coroners Service has confirmed the identity of a youth who died after a motor vehicle incident near Lytton on Feb. 21, 2014.

He was Dante Tiberius Darkazanli, aged 15, of Vernon.

Dante was a passenger in an SUV which was involved in a four-vehicle collision on Highway 1 about 25 kilometres east of Lytton about 11:30 a.m. on Feb. 21. Dante was deceased at the scene of the collision.

The BC Coroners Service and RCMP Traffic Services continue to investigate this death.

Dante's family has been notified of his death. On behalf of family members, the BC Coroners Service asks that the media respect their privacy at this difficult time.
