The BC Coroners Service has confirmed the identity of a male who was found unresponsive in Vernon on Feb. 27, 2014.

He was Michael William Steward Kalinouski, aged 36, of Vernon.

Mr. Kalinouski was found unresponsive in an outdoor area near the intersection of Okanagan Drive and South Vernon Drive on the morning of Feb. 27, 2014. He could not be resuscitated.

The BC Coroners Service and RCMP continue to investigate this death. Foul play has now been ruled out.

The family of Mr. Kalinouski has been notified of his death. On behalf of the family, the BC Coroners Service asks that the media respect their privacy at this difficult time.
