The BC Coroners Service has confirmed the identity of a man who died after a motor vehicle incident near Kamloops on March 1, 2014.
He was Daniel Glenn Pawluk, aged 55, of Kamloops.
Mr. Pawluk was the driver and sole occupant of a truck which was heading eastbound on Highway 1 towards Kamloops about 8 p.m. on March 1, 2014, when, near Cherry Creek, it left the road and rolled into a ditch. Road and weather conditions were noted to be poor at the time. Mr. Pawliuk was deceased at the scene of the collision.
The BC Coroners Service and RCMP continue to investigate this death.
The family of Mr. Pawluk has been notified of his death. On behalf of family members, the BC Coroners Service asks that the media respect their privacy at this difficult time.
