The BC Coroners Service has confirmed the identity of a male who was found unresponsive in Kamloops on April 5, 2014.
He was Glenn William Stecyk, aged 56, of no fixed address.
Mr. Stecyk was found unresponsive in an outdoor area near the Thompson River near the intersection of Schubert Drive and Ford Avenue in the morning of April 5. He could not be resuscitated.
The BC Coroners Service and RCMP continue to investigate this death. Foul play has now been ruled out.
The family of Mr. Stecyk has been notified of his death. On behalf of the family, the BC Coroners Service asks that the media respect their privacy at this difficult time.
