The BC Coroners Service has confirmed the identity of a man who died following a mobile home fire in West Kelowna on April 9, 2014.

He was Dennis Marvin Greep, aged 56, of West Kelowna.

In the early morning hours of April 9, 2014, a fire was noted at a mobile home on Westside Road in West Kelowna. The fire department attended. When they extinguished the fire, Mr. Greep was found inside, deceased. The bodies of two dogs have also since been found in the remains of the fire.

The BC Coroners Service continues to investigate this death.

The family of Mr. Greep has been notified of his death. On behalf of family members, the BC Coroners Service asks that the media respect their privacy at this difficult time.
