The BC Coroners Service has confirmed the identity of a youth who died after a motor vehicle incident in Trail on April 7, 2014.

He was Nolan Handley, aged 17, of Trail.  

Nolan was a passenger in a car which left the roadway and rolled in the 8900-block of Highway 22A in Trail shortly after 9:30 p.m. on April 7, 2014. Nolan was taken to hospital in Trail and then transferred to Kelowna General Hospital for more intensive care. However, he succumbed to his injuries on April 9, 2014.

The BC Coroners Service and RCMP Traffic Services continue to investigate this death.

Nolan’s family has been notified of his death. On behalf of family members, the BC Coroners Service asks that the media respect their privacy at this difficult time.
