The BC Coroners Service has confirmed the identity of a man who died after a motor vehicle incident in Vancouver on April 8, 2014.

He was David Allan Lamberton, aged 55, who had been residing in Delta.  

Mr. Lamberton was the driver and sole occupant of a minivan which was involved in a head-on collision with a transit bus in the 800-block of East Broadway about 12:45 p.m. on April 8, 2014.  Mr.  Lamberton was deceased at the scene.  

The BC Coroners Service and Vancouver City Police continue to investigate this death.

Mr. Lamberton’s family has been notified of his death. On behalf of family members, the BC Coroners Service asks that the media respect their privacy at this difficult time.
