The BC Coroners Service has confirmed the identity of a couple who died following a motorcycle incident in Vernon on April 13, 2014.

They were Carol Joyce Thor, aged 57, and her spouse Brian Thor, also aged 57, both from Vernon.

Mr. Thor was the driver and Mrs. Thor the passenger on a motorcycle which was involved in a collision with another vehicle on Westside Road in Vernon about 9 p.m. on April 13, 2014. Both were deceased at the scene.

The BC Coroners Service and RCMP Traffic Services continue to investigate these deaths.

The families of both Mr. and Mrs. Thor have been notified of the deaths. On behalf of family members, the BC Coroners Service asks that the media respect their privacy at this difficult time.
