The BC Coroners Service has confirmed the identity of a woman who died after a motor vehicle incident in Salmon Arm on May 5, 2014.

She is Gloria Gail Boda, aged 65, of Salmon Arm.

Ms. Boda was the front-seat passenger in a vehicle which was in collision with another vehicle at the intersection of Highways 1 and 97B in Salmon Arm about 2 pm on May 5, 2014. She was taken immediately to Shuswap Lake General Hospital but died there about 4 p.m.

The BC Coroners Service and RCMP Traffic Services continue to investigate this death.

The family of Ms. Boda has been notified of her death. On behalf of family members, the BC Coroners Service asks that the media respect their privacy at this difficult time.
