The BC Coroners Service has confirmed the identity of a man who died after a motor vehicle incident near Grinrod on May 11, 2014.

He is Herman Gerrits, aged 64, of Enderby.  

Mr. Gerrits was the operator of a northbound motorcycle that was involved in a collision with a southbound vehicle on the Enderby-Grinrod Road at about 10:30 a.m. on May 11.  

The Coroners Service and RCMP Traffic Services continue to investigate this death.

Mr. Gerrits’s family has been notified of his death. On behalf of family members, the Coroners Service asks that the media respect their privacy at this difficult time.
