The BC Coroners Service has confirmed the identity of a man who died after a motor vehicle incident near Lumby on May 11, 2014.

He is Denji Andries Kuraoka, aged 25, of Lumby.  

Mr. Kuraoka was the driver of a pickup truck which rolled on Whitevale Road, a gravel road near Lumby, in the early morning hours of May 11. Mr. Kuraoka was deceased at the scene.

The BC Coroners Service and RCMP Traffic Services continue to investigate this death.

Mr. Kuraoka’s family has been notified of his death. On behalf of family members, the BC Coroners Service asks that the media respect their privacy at this difficult time.
