The BC Coroners Service has confirmed the identity of a man who died after a motor vehicle incident near Raleigh on June 9, 2014.
He is Timothy John Watson, aged 53, of Kamloops.
Mr. Watson was the driver of a pickup truck which was proceeding northbound on Highway 5 about 2:30 p.m. on June 9, 2014, when, about four kilometres north of Raleigh, it was in a collision with a southbound pickup truck. Mr. Watson was deceased at the scene.
The BC Coroners Service and RCMP Traffic Services continue to investigate this death.
Mr. Watson’s family has been notified of his death. On behalf of family members, the BC Coroners Service asks that the media respect their privacy at this difficult time.
