The BC Coroners Service has confirmed the identity of a man who died in a motor vehicle incident near Paul Lake, northeast of Kamloops, on June 25, 2014.
The man is Barry Wilson Charlie Jr., aged 27, from Lytton.
Mr. Charlie was an unrestrained passenger in a minivan travelling westbound on the Pinantan-Pritchard Road when the van overturned.
Emergency personnel attended the scene of the incident and confirmed Mr. Charlie deceased. Four other occupants including the driver were transported to hospital. No other vehicles were involved in the incident.
The BC Coroners Service continues to investigate the death of Mr. Charlie.
The family of Mr. Charlie has been notified of his death. On behalf of the family, the BC Coroners Service asks that the media respect their privacy at this difficult time.
