The BC Coroners Service has confirmed the identity of a man who died after a motorcycle incident south of Revelstoke on July 4, 2014.
He was Mark Douglas Dickson, aged 33, from Grand Forks.
Mr. Dickson and a friend were riding motorcycles southbound on the Crawford Forestry Service Road, an active logging road about 40 kilometres south of Revelstoke on the afternoon of July 4, when about 4:15 p.m., Mr. Dickson’s machine collided with a northbound pickup truck. Mr. Dickson was deceased at the scene.
The BC Coroners Service and RCMP continue to investigate this death.
Mr. Dickson’s family has been notified of his death. On behalf of family members, the BC Coroners Service asks that the media respect their privacy at this difficult time.
