The BC Coroners Service has confirmed the identity of a man who died after a motor vehicle incident in Kelowna on July 12, 2014.

He was Victor John Francis Doyle, aged 23, of Kelowna.  

Mr. Doyle was a passenger in a vehicle at about 8:30 a.m. on July 12 when suddenly, near the intersection of Glenmore and Union Roads, he fell from the moving vehicle. He was rushed to Kelowna General Hospital but died of his injuries later in the day.

The BC Coroners Service and RCMP Traffic Services continue to investigate this death.

Mr. Doyle’s family has been notified of his death. On behalf of family members, the BC Coroners Service asks that the media respect their privacy at this difficult time.
