The BC Coroners Service has confirmed the identity of a man who died after a motor vehicle incident near New Denver on July 14, 2014.
He was Kelvin Kenneth Hoffman, aged 50, of Didsbury, Alberta, a town in south-central Alberta about 80 kilometres north of Calgary.
Mr. Hoffman was the operator of a motorcycle, which was involved in a collision with a pickup truck with camper attached, on Highway 31A about 13 kilometres from New Denver on the morning of July 14.
The BC Coroners Service and RCMP Traffic Services continue to investigate this death.
Mr. Hoffman’s family has been notified of his death. On behalf of family members, the BC Coroners Service asks that the media respect their privacy at this difficult time.
