The BC Coroners Service has confirmed the identity of a male who died following a motor vehicle incident near Terrace on July 18, 2014.

He is Robinson Breon Sanka, aged 45, of Smithers.

Mr. Sanka was the driver of an eastbound car which was involved in a single-vehicle crash on Highway 16 about 10 km east of Terrace at about 3:15 a.m. on July 18, 2014. Mr. Sanka was deceased at the scene.

The BC Coroners Service and RCMP continue to investigate this death.

The family of Mr. Sanka has been notified of his death. On behalf of family members, the BC Coroners Service asks that the media respect their privacy at this difficult time.
