The BC Coroners Service has confirmed the identity of a man who died after a motor vehicle incident in Vancouver on July 31, 2014.

He was Khader Emile-George Yasmineh, aged 62, of Vancouver.  

Mr. Yasmineh was the driver and sole occupant of a car that was rear-ended by another vehicle on the Granville Street bridge at about 4 a.m. on July 31. Mr.  Yasmineh was deceased at the scene.  

The Coroners Service and Vancouver City Police continue to investigate this death.

Mr. Yasmineh’s family has been notified of his death. On behalf of family members, the Coroners Service asks that the media respect their privacy at this difficult time.
