The BC Coroners Service has confirmed the identity of a man who died after a motor vehicle incident in Kamloops on Aug. 10, 2014.
He is Michael Joseph Bourget, aged 32, of Kamloops.
Mr. Bourget was the operator of a motorcycle which was heading eastbound in the 300-block of Victoria Street West at about 7:10 p.m. on Aug. 10, 2014, when he was injured in a collision which also involved two pickup trucks. Mr. Bourget was transported by ambulance to Royal Inland Hospital but could not be resuscitated.
The BC Coroners Service and RCMP continue to investigate this death.
Mr. Bourget’s family has been notified of his death. On behalf of family members, the BC Coroners Service asks that the media respect their privacy at this difficult time.
