The BC Coroners Service has confirmed the identity of a youth who died after a motor vehicle incident in Penticton on Aug. 16, 2014.
He was Drew Kenneth Wolfe Fraser, aged 18, of Penticton.
Mr. Fraser was a pedestrian walking westbound on Eckhardt Avenue in Penticton about 1:45 a.m. on Aug. 16 when, near the intersection of Alberni Avenue, he was in collision with a fully-loaded dump truck. Mr. Fraser was deceased at the scene.
The Coroners Service and RCMP continue to investigate this death.
Mr. Fraser’s family has been notified of his death. On behalf of family members, the Coroners Service asks that the media respect their privacy at this difficult time.
