The BC Coroners Service has confirmed the identity of a man who died following a motor vehicle incident near Goodlow on Sept. 4, 2014.

The man is Joseph Kwan Wu, aged 29 from Fort St. John.

Mr. Wu was the driver and sole occupant of a vehicle travelling southbound on the Cecil Lake Road when the incident occurred. Emergency personnel responded however, Mr. Wu was deceased at the scene.

The BC Coroners Service and RCMP Traffic Services continue to investigate this death.

The family of Mr. Wu has been notified of his death.  On behalf of family members, the BC Coroners Service asks that the media respect their privacy at this difficult time.
