The BC Coroners Service has confirmed the identity of two persons who died following a motor vehicle incident in Prince George on Oct. 9, 2014.
They are Patricia Sims-Maclean, aged 50, and David Sakawsky, aged 49, both of Prince George.
Ms. Sims-Maclean and Mr. Sakawsky were crossing Nicholson Street in Prince George, just before 7 a.m. on Oct. 9, 2014, when they were struck by a commercial tractor-trailer making a left hand turn from 22nd Street onto Nicholson. Both were deceased at the scene.
The BC Coroners Service and RCMP continue to investigate this death.
The families of both victims have been notified of their deaths. On behalf of family members, the BC Coroners Service asks that the media respect their privacy at this difficult time.
