The BC Coroners Service has confirmed the identities of two men who died following a motor vehicle incident in Williams Lake on Oct. 11, 2014.  

They were Shayne Christopher Fair, aged 29, and Christopher Grant, aged 42, both of Williams Lake.  

Mr. Fair was the driver of, and Mr. Grant a rear-seat passenger in, a Jeep Cherokee which was heading southbound on South Lakeside Drive shortly before 1 a.m. on Oct. 11. In the 1400-block, the vehicle went out of control, rolled, and ended up on railway tracks on the east side of the road. Both persons were deceased at the scene.

The BC Coroners Service and RCMP continue to investigate these deaths.

The families of the victims have been notified of these deaths. On behalf of family members, the BC Coroners Service asks that the media respect their privacy at this difficult time.
