The BC Coroners Service has confirmed the identity of a male who died following a motor vehicle incident near Horsefly on Oct. 10, 2014.

He is Howard Norman Rhodes, aged 58, of 150 Mile House.

Mr. Rhodes was the driver and sole occupant of a pickup truck heading westbound on the Horsefly Road when, about 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 10, 2014, it left the road and ended up in a grove of trees. Mr. Rhodes was deceased at the scene.

The BC Coroners Service and RCMP continue to investigate this death.

The family of Mr. Rhodes has been notified of his death. On behalf of family members, the BC Coroners Service asks that the media respect their privacy at this difficult time.
