The BC Coroners Service has confirmed the identity of a male who was found deceased in Revelstoke on Nov. 7, 2014.
He was Scott Alfred James Grady, aged 40, of Revelstoke.
Family members had reported Mr. Grady missing to the RCMP on the evening of Nov. 5 when he failed to return home as planned, and a search was launched. On Nov. 7, Search and Rescue personnel found Mr. Grady in a remote wooded area on the eastern edge of Revelstoke near the intersection of Townley and Track Streets. He was deceased at the scene.
The BC Coroners Service and RCMP continue to investigate this death. Foul play has now been ruled out.
The family of Mr. Grady has been notified of his death. On behalf of the family, the BC Coroners Service asks that the media respect their privacy at this difficult time.
