The Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure invites you to attend an open house to provide feedback about proposed boundary changes to Nahatlatch Provincial Park in the Fraser Canyon.
The ministry is applying to BC Parks to adjust the boundary of the park as part of a land exchange with the Boston Bar First Nation. The proposed area is approximately 1.5 hectares, which is made up of two pieces of park land on either side of the Nahatlatch Lake subdivision.
If you are unable to attend the open house, please send your comments, and/or questions by email, mail or fax to Garth Stewart. You can have your say during the public comment period, which will run until August 29, 2014.
Proposals to amend the boundaries of provincial parks are reviewed under the Provincial Protected Area Boundary Adjustment Policy, Process and Guidelines, which can be found here: http://www.env.gov.bc.ca/bcparks/PBAProcess/
