Drivers can expect heavy traffic and some delays along Highway 99 from Aug. 7-11, as concert goers make their way to the Squamish Music Festival which runs Aug. 8-10.
Drivers should allow extra time when travelling the Sea-to-Sky Highway between Horseshoe Bay, Squamish and Whistler.
There will be no highway lane closures during this period, but a significant increase in traffic volume is expected in the Howe Sound corridor for the Squamish Music Festival.
Motorists are advised to plan their travel in advance, drive safely, and obey signs and traffic control personnel during this music festival event.
