Tonight, workers will begin removing and replacing the joints on the north viaduct of the Lions Gate Bridge.
Crews will work to minimize noise for surrounding residents as much as possible. However, removing the old joints will require pavement cutting and the use of jackhammers, and some intermittent loud noise may occur. The ministry appreciates residents' patience and understanding while this necessary work is completed.
Work on the joints will require nighttime lane closures and minimal delays for traffic. Details will be posted to: www.DriveBC.ca
Repair work has been underway for several weeks, and the project is expected to be completed later this year.
