Effective immediately, the Lost Creek Forest Service Road is closed to all traffic beyond the 8km bridge until approximately Aug. 10, 2015, while the bridge is repaired. An inspection on July 29, 2015, found the bridge could fail at any time.

Lost Creek Forest Service, north of Mission and East of Stake Lake is accessed from Sylvester Road. The road closure means that the public will not be able to access Salsbury and Kenyon lakes, which are popular fishing and camping spots.
