The BC Coroners Service has confirmed the identity of a man who died following an incident at a Whistler hotel on Jan. 20, 2015.
The man was Damon William Campbell, aged 45, of Port Coquitlam.
Mr. Campbell became unresponsive following an incident at a Whistler hotel at about 3 a.m. on Jan. 20, 2015. Mr. Campbell was transported from the scene to the Whistler Health Centre but could not be resuscitated.
The BC Coroners Service, the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) and the Independent Investigations Office (IIO) continue to investigate this death.
The family of Mr. Campbell has been notified of his death. On behalf of family members, the BC Coroners Service asks that the media respect their privacy at this difficult time.
