The BC Coroners Service has confirmed the identity of a man who died after being struck by a train in Agassiz on Feb. 28, 2015.

The man was Boone Jackson Harry, aged 23 from Agassiz.

Mr. Harry was struck by an Eastbound CN Rail train at approximately 5 a.m. in the downtown area of Agassiz.

Mr. Harry was confirmed deceased at the scene of the incident.

The BC Coroners Service continues to investigate this death.

The family of Mr. Harry has been notified of his death. On behalf of family members, the BC Coroners Service asks that the media respect their privacy at this difficult time.
