The BC Coroners Service has confirmed the identity of a woman who died after a motor vehicle incident near Sorrento on March 16, 2015.

She was Anisha Husseinali Moore, aged 55, of Sorrento, a small community on the south shore of Shuswap Lake.   

Ms. Moore was the driver and sole occupant of a car that was involved in a three-vehicle crash on Highway 1 at Hilltop Rd. at about 1:15 p.m. on March 16. Ms. Moore was deceased at the scene.

The BC Coroners Service and RCMP Traffic Services continue to investigate this death.

Ms. Moore’s family has been notified of her death. On behalf of family members, the BC Coroners Service asks that the media respect their privacy at this difficult time.
